Overview

Gruff are a mix of human and giant. They are descendants of the ancient giants of old that were some of the earliest inhabitants of the planet. Unfortunately, today most of the giant DNA has been lost, and gruff seem to be more human than giant, living about the same span as a human. But, their physical form remains as sturdy and grizzled as ever. Gruff usually have more brawn than brains and many become loggers or miners because of their natural strength. While their ancestors lived in caves, Gruff have become more integrated into civilization, but still tend to prefer working with stone materials.
